Bitcoin Purchasing Power Measured In Big Macs

The Economist has for a long time measured the world economy (or its citizens purchasing power) using the Big Mac index (how many Big Macs does a dollar buy?). As regular fiat currencies plunge in value and are converted into bitcoins and its exchange rate rises against fiat currencies the Big Mac index-solution should work just as fine for measuring a bitcoin’s purchasing power (its “value”). Here’s a site doing exactly that comparison: Bitcoin Purchasing Power Index (currently you’ll get about 120-130 Big Macs for a bitcoin).
